Hope-Infused Life

There is a Japanese tradition that when they mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. What’s their thinking? They believe that when something has suffered damage and has a history, it becomes more beautiful. Similarly, incorporating the cracks and chips of your life vs. covering them up or throwing away the broken pieces is how you can become whole again and create a beautiful, new and different you. When you integrate the lessons learned through your loss into the new life you’re constructing, you build muscles that allow you to be even more resilient, interesting, and compassionate. Fill the cracks in your heart with pure gold and let the world see how you shine! –  By: “Hope for Widows” on Facebook
